Tom Carroll has been a longtime performer in the Central Ohio music scene and recently retired from Denison University where he was a guitar instructor and coordinator of many jazz and other music events. Tom also performs with the gypsy jazz combo SpeakEasy, the rockabilly group The Recliners, as well as with his groups the Tom Carroll Trio and Organic Chemistry.
 
Guitarist Joshua Hill tours regularly with the New York based band Huntertones, as well performing with Columbus bands Birdshack and the Hoo Doo Soul Band. He is currently an adjunct faculty member at Kenyon College in Gambier, OH.

Norman Nardini, the Uncrowned King of Rock and Roll from Pittsburgh, is one of the great rock and roll artists of our time. After a brief stay at the Berklee School of Music, he rented his Hammond B-3  organ and roadied for Billy Preston and Sly and the Family Stone, backed up Little Anthony and the Imperials, The Detroit Emeralds, and The Manhattans, and played guitar behind Big Mama Thornton and George  “Harmonica” Smith at the Jazz Workshop in Boston.

Willie Phoenix will open up the show with a solo acoustic set. Willie, a historic and pivotal figure in the Columbus music scene, has been described as a “….raging guitarist with a ton of attitude…”. His juiced up live performances are the stuff of legends. The former A&M Recording Artist is a prolific songwriter who pens moving, soulful, rock, pop and reggae-influenced songs with infectious hooks.

The stellar, all-star lineup features Eric Demmer (Gatemouth Brown) on sax and Mark’s former partner in crime, guitarist Paul Ramirez, who spent 6 years with the band from 2004 to 2010.  Along with Darrell Lacy on bass and Dante Ware on drums, together they form a powerhouse of musical interplay, staggering solos and beautiful harmonies. Mark plans to release his 7th album with the new lineup very soon..

The talented Paisha Thomas returns to Natalie’s along with her band and special guests for another special evening of music. Paisha is a locally based entertainer who engages others through art mostly by her singing and songwriting. She creates music about love, politics, self-discovery, and the condition of the world.  Her first (eponymous) album was released last year, and she performs at a variety of local venues with her band and sometimes as a solo artist. One of her most proud performances was in the Backstage at the Lincoln Theater Concert Series.
