Natalie’s presents a special CD Release show for Al Smyth’s FBnCC (Free Beer n Chicken Coalition). Don’t let the silly name fool you, this man is serious about his guitar playing as well as his original songs, custom arrangements, and reworking of selections from masters such as Les Paul, Chet Atkins and Frank Zappa. Help celebrate the release of Al’s new CD ’77, a collection of original compositions covering various genres and styles.
Al Smyth’s FBnCC puts on a guitar orientated show that can be described as both cerebral and fun, and if one tune isn’t your bag – just wait a minute for the next – always different always great. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll run the gamut of emotions. Sharing the bill for this show is Worthington’s own Matt Steidle playing his amazing 7 string guitar (which when he play’s you’d swear it was a 10 string). Using modern technology and an ancient magical musical talent, Matt writes, composes and produces music that makes a leap into a style that is unique and well, basically to sum it up in one imaginary word “funkphoristastical”.
