The mother-daughter duo of Suzzy Roche and Lucy Wainwright Roche return to Natalie’s for an intimate evening of acoustic music. Lucy & Suzzy recorded their first CD Fairytale and Myth, which won the popular vote for best singer/songwriter album of the year for the Independent Music Awards 2014. Suzzy and Lucy recently released their second recording Mud & Apples in 2016. Suzzy is also currently performing with The Wooster Group in: Early Shaker Spirituals ~ a record album interpretation ~ Cry Trojans! ~ based on Shakespeare’s Troilus and Cressida, and The Room by Harold Pinter.She is a founding member of the singing group The Roches and has written two books; a novel Wayward Saints, and a children’s book Want To Be in a Band?

Born into a musical family Greenwich Village, NYC, Lucy Wainwright Roche is deeply steeped in the musical world. In addition to her parents (Loudon Wainwright III and Suzzy Roche) and her siblings, (Martha and Rufus Wainwright), Lucy’s various aunts, uncles and cousins are all musicians. With two EPs (8 Songs and 8 More) and two solo full-length albums (Lucy and There’s a Last Time for Everything) under her belt, she’s traveled thousands of miles, and armed with a just a guitar and a huge angelic voice, she’s performed solo and with countless musicians from Neko Case to the Indigo Girls in this country and internationally.
