The Gospel Soul Brunch Series, hosted by Debra James Tucker, continues with the outstanding vocalist Jennifer Price. Jennifer has a sultry warm voice and has been making music for over four decades. Over the course of her career, Jennifer has performed to audiences across the globe including venues in The Bahamas, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg and The Netherlands.  The classically trained singer is also a songwriter and has written one hundred plus songs of various genres including adult contemporary, r&b, gospel and pop.

Among her professional credits, Jennifer performed as background vocalist for national recording artist Miki Howard, which led to performing on a U.S. tour and Soul Train.  She also performed on Howard’s CD titled Love Confessions. Currently, Jennifer is writing and recording her original music and has recently resurfaced on the Columbus scene and plans to release a gospel album soon.

The unique sound of vocalist Debra James Tucker is a product of extensive training in jazz, classical and gospel music. She is the writer/performer of the one woman show Survival of the Boulevard Singer—winner of an Ohio Arts Council Award for Individual Excellence, has been visiting instructor at Denison University in the history of African American Gospel Music, and an artist in residence with a number of youth arts organizations.


Soul Sunday at Natalie’s is held on the first Sunday of each month, and includes a delicious Brunch from 11 am until 3 pm, with the Derek DiCenzo TRio performing between 11 am and 1 pm. The Gospel Soul Brunch show begins at 2:30 pm and presents the best national and regional gospel artists, hosted and coordinated by Debra James Tucker. The evening show, hosted by Paisha Thomas, features a variety of soul bands and artists starting at 8 pm. In addition to the regular menu, enjoy a soul food special, sponsored by Smithfield Ham, created just for this series!
