The Gospel Soul Brunch Series continues with the talented vocalist Teresca Showell. Her passionate and powerful vocals convey her sincerity of worship towards the God of her heart. Teresca’s philosophy, “singing is the talent, changing the atmosphere is the gift,” speaks to her anointing as an atmosphere changer. Singing since the age of two, Teresca currently is nominated in two Categories “Best Female Gospel Vocalist “of The Year, and “Best New Gospel Artist” of The Year for The WTHM Radio Awards 1st Annual Awards Show. Currently putting the finishing touches on her new project, Broken to Live, Teresca’s desire is to use her genuine and captivating worship sound to all ages and races to enter into the pure element of worship.
The unique sound of vocalist Debra James Tucker is a product of extensive training in jazz, classical and gospel music. She is the writer/performer of the one woman show Survival of the Boulevard Singer—winner of an Ohio Arts Council Award for Individual Excellence, has been visiting instructor at Denison University in the history of African American Gospel Music, and an artist in residence with a number of youth arts organizations.
Soul Sunday at Natalie’s is held on the first Sunday of each month, and includes a delicious Brunch from 11 am until 3 pm, with the Derek DiCenzo Trio performing between 11 am and 1 pm. The Gospel Show Brunch show begins at 2:30 and presents the best national and regional Gospel Artists in concert. The evening show, hosted by Paisha Thomas, features a variety of Soul bands and artists starting at 8 pm. In addition to the regular menu, enjoy a “Soul Food” special created just for this series!
