Natalie’s is proud to partner with the national TV series Songs at the Center to welcome back to our stage artists who’ve appeared on the show. Kay Harris & Molly Pauken appear with Jamie Sagle and Elena Aiello in an “in-the-round” concert hosted by award-winning songwriter Eric Gnezda.
Kay Harris and Molly Pauken are two of Ohio’s most sought-after studio and live-performance musicians. As the songwriting engines of the popular band Sirens, they recently released their highly anticipated new album, Confessions of An Optimist, which presents a blended group of songs that travel through Americana, funky pop-rock and soul in a truly original way.
Kay has been an integral part of the Central Ohio music scene for a number of years. As a vocalist and songwriter for most of her life, she has been involved with numerous albums and also has provided lead and backup vocals for over 70 local and national jingles. Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Molly Pauken plays guitar, bass, drums and mandolin in a number of Columbus-based bands, including McGuffey Lane, John Schwab, Jonalee White, The Ladies of Longford, Hilda Doyle and various other area artists.
Elena Aeillo was born and raised in Southeast Ohio with a pinch of Italian fire and a whole lot of love. She’s a singer-songwriter who sings about people, situations, love, pain and hope in a style all her own. With a career spanning over 15 years, she has spent her time and talent playing with bands across Ohio ranging from blues to bluegrass. Her recent albums have been with her band Apple & The Moon, which portrays her gritty Appalachian rock side.
Jamie Sagle uses powerful, energetic and truthful words and melodies to tell stories of her own life and the lives of others around her. She continues to write about her life as a mother, daughter and wife with wisdom, humor and passion. Her songs inspire and entertain, and she is currently working on an album with Nashville producers Dave Coleman and Chris Benelli.
Eric Gnezda is the creator and host of the American Public Television series, Songs at the Center. A regular performer at Nashville’s famous venue for songwriters, The Bluebird Café, Eric was awarded the Ohioana Citation for Music Composition, joining Michael Feinstein (American Songbook), Jorma Kaukonen (Jefferson Airplane), and Chip Davis (Mannheim Steamroller). His single, “Separation,” was named one of the Top 25 Songs of 2018 by Detroit radio’s Phil Maq, of WHFR-FM.
Songs at the Center is seen coast-to-coast on more than 325 PBS stations, and airing locally on WOSU TV on Saturday nights at 11pm, as the lead-in to Austin City Limits.
