- This event has passed.
When asked at her first audition “How does singing make you feel?” the young girl only age 9 replied “Alive!” Such is the perfect word to describe the music of Jazz vocalist and composer Laura Camara. A songstress of incredible emotional depth, Laura continues to dazzle audiences with her incredible vocal range, rich colorful timbres, and deeply personal original compositions. Her unique performances and heartfelt lyricism open a doorway into her heart for all to enter elevating her as one of the most genuine emerging artists in Jazz today.
Bobby Floyd’s talent has launched him into a very rewarding career, making him one of the favorite, first-call pianists/organists for many well-known artists. He has traveled the world accompanying Ray Charles on piano and organ, and currently makes guest appearances with some of the most distinguished orchestras, including The Boston Pops, The Rochester Philharmonic, and The Detroit Symphony. He has been the featured pianist for the legendary Count Basie Orchestra, and has also toured as organist for Grammy Award winning Dr. John. Performing with the Bobby Floyd Trio are Derek DiCenzo on guitar and bass, and Reggie Jackson on drums.
