Presented by the Ohiolina Music Festival

  • This event has passed.

Natalie’s, in conjunction with the Ohiolina Music Festival, presents Tim Easton in a live stream concert from Natalie’s Grandview. Tim’s most recent release, Exposition”, is a modern take on “field recordings”, recorded in three locations…in Okemah, OK, the birthplace of Woody Guthrie, The Gunter Hotel in San Antonio where Robert Johnson recorded, and in Clarksdale, MS where Muddy Waters was born.

Easton released five critically acclaimed solo albums on New West Records, which was followed by invitations to be a support act from mentors Lucinda Williams and John Hiatt. After becoming a Father and re-locating to Nashville, Easton recorded the album “NOT COOL”, which accented the stripped-down Memphis & Sun Studios sound of the Tennessee Three. His next album “AMERICAN FORK” featured a fully flushed out backing band with elaborate song arrangements. His follow up, “Paco & The Melodic Polaroids,” is a fully stripped down, solo- acoustic album celebrating 30 years of companionship with “Paco,” his trusty Gibson J-45 acoustic guitar. Recently, Easton reached the milestone of having 100 Published original songs which he celebrated by releasing 100 solo performance videos on 100 consecutive days, all posted on his personal YouTube channel.
